This vessel was replaced two years later by the North Cat Island Special which operated a successful mail boat services for many years. The current mail boats are the North Cat Island Special 11, a 153 ft. Steel Hul LCT 19 vessel, providing service to North Cat Island under Government contract.
An additional service provided by the North Cat Island Co-operative Society, is a bus service for transportation of students of Government Schools located in North Cat Island .
